1703fp queries
Hi, I'm planning to buy a new computer in a month and really liked the way the 1703 look , its specs and ofcourse the size&price ratio as well......But,here are some points I'm concerned about ;
1-) Can I use it comfortably at 75 hz on its native resolution (1280x1024...) ?
2-) What's its size matching with the CRT monitors ?
3-) Can somebody attach a picture about what I should expect to see in any other resolution ? Some says that turning into fuzzy screen problem has been improved recently but I'm not sure how much.
4-) How can I detect DEAD pixels on my screen if there should be some ? , my eyes are not that picky I think !
5-) I liked the design as I said above but ! the pivot seems to be rather thick on the pictures I've seen....is it something downgrading the overall quality of this monitor ?
6-) Why do I see alot of people having 1901fp here instead of 1703? Because as a result of my recent research,1703 seems to have almost the BEST specifications in 17'' LCD market.... On the other hand , 1901fp is not among the best of 19'' choices...is it about the price&size ratio ?
7-) What's the colour support on this model ? 16 , 24 or 32bit ? or all of them ?
8-) The most important issue...GAMES ! :)) .....Can I have short summary about this beauty's game performance ? Especially , games like unreal , halo , call of duty etc....The greedy ones basically...And is this monitor big enough for having the best fun out of these games ?
Additional information : I will choose ATI Radeon 9800 pro for the graphics card...
Cheers
