2209WAf - OSD Randomly locks/unlocks, padlock icon forever on screen
Hi,
Dell 2209WAf REV A00
The OSD menu lock toggles itself on/off repeatedly without me having to go near the buttons - It wouldn't be so much of a problem if the padlock icon wasn't forever on the screen toggling between locked and unlocked rendering the display unusable.
I've tried turning off unplugging everything then reattaching - No luck, the problem persists.
I've tried pressing and holding the menu button for 15seconds to toggle the OSD lock - No luck, the problem persists.
Any ideas and help would be much appreciated. The problem below continues whether attached to my MacPro or MacBook Pro via DVI. The cable is not faulty, tested it on another monitor.

It sounds defective. If under warranty, get it replaced by Technical Support. They will need the following data -
Name:
Email Address:
Shipping address:
Phone number:
Monitor Order number or PC Service Tag number if purchased with a PC:
Monitor 20 digit PPID number found on the back on a label or on the slider card on the left rear:
Operating system:
Video card:
Video card ports tested:
