Sorry Chris, but what do you mean you'd like to test it?

Which bugs the A02 firmware solve?

Chris, could you please give us the detailed instructions for upgrading the firmware from A01 to A02.  If the upgrade tool is required, where can we get it?  Are there any risks in doing the upgrade?  Is the upgrade worth the risks?

Thank you.

Guys:  I do not believe the firmware is necessary. If your problems are similar to mine, i.e., dull, and grainy, then no firmware upgrade will have any substantive or positive impact.   Also, reviewing Vittorinox's specifications of his A01 version U2410 reads a Maximum Pixel Clock of 760 MHz. However, my A02 version U2410 reads a Maximum Pixel Clock of 170 MHz.

Sorry Chris, could you said me which bugs the A02 firmware solve?

Do you suggest me to upgrade my monitor with A01?

When you download and then expand the rar file, it has a PDF file with all of the instructions.

A01 to A02
- Improve grainy issue in video modes by modifying the sharpness table
- Removed the unwanted black bar in pivot OSD
- Resolved DisplayPort audio mute issue
- Modify and standardize the DisplayPort power save sleep/wake scheme

Only if you have issues.

Before upgrading to A02, I had A01.  The upgrade tool showed M1f19.  After upgrading to A02, the upgrade tool still shows M1f19.

Is there any other way to check the firmware version?  Is everyone else's upgrade tool still showing M1f19 after upgrading to A02?

My results before and after the upgrade are identical to yours.  Chris, is there another method of checking the firmware version to ensure that we now have successfully upgraded from A01 to A02?

If you go into the U2410's service menu, you can check the firmware version.  It's very difficult to get into that menu though.

If you go into the U2410's service menu, you can check the firmware version.  It's very difficult to get into that menu though.

To activate factory menu, turn off your monitor. Then hold second and forth button (counting from the top), and while holding press the power button. The led will start turning on from the bottom. Once the leds are all on press the first button (the blue factory menu should be opened by now, if not try press the top button again).

I tried to access the service menu using the above method but was not successful.  If you have successfully accessed the service menu, please let us know the exact procedure.  Perhaps there is a tweak to the above.  Thank you.

Mr Chris ,

It's possible flash the monitor directly from A00 to A02 firmware ?

and Win7 is not mentioned as OS requirement , but it works the same to run the A02 FW ?

thanks a lot
