Any chance to make the Ultrasharp 2407 recognize SanDisk Ultra SDHC cards?

I have been using the built-in cardreader of the 2407 for an old SanDisk 1GB SD card, which worked fine. Recently, I upgraded to a much more modern digicam, which stores its pictures on a 16 GB SanDisk Ultra SDHC card (15 MB/s). Unfortunately, the monitor doesn't seem to be able to recognize this card.

Is there any way (e.g. a firmware update?) to make the monitor aware of these new high-capacity SDHC cards?

Thanks in advance!

SanFranSisCo,

No. The engineering team moved away from updating the Bios/EDID on this monitor a long time ago. The card reader specifications listed here are all that will ever be supported. We only tested up to regular 4GB SD cards.

Thanks for the answer. Not unexpected, given the age of the monitor, but still a little bit disappointing.

Anyway, time to start searching for another solution then. :-)
