Can I get all points covered by a finger tip touching a touch panel?

Hi,

I was wondering whether it is possible with ANY of your touch screens to get the noisy points too. What I mean is that when touching the display with my finger, the device only reports one touch point. However, because of the size of my finger tip, multiple points on the touch device should be touched. So how does the panel determine the right point from those many points? Is there any way to turn off the filtering of these noisy points? In other words, is there any way that I can get all the points covered by my finger tip?

cheers

paulus1982,

It is designed to take the initial pressure point of your finger.

Is there any way for me to change that design (e.g. in the driver) so that I get all points and not only the first point?
* No.

What is the touch resolution?
* The ST2220T default resolution is 1920x1080. The specifications can be found here.

Is there any way for me to change that design (e.g. in the driver) so that I get all points and not only the first point?

Also, what is the touch resolution?
