Dark vertical line on W2709
I have a Dell W2709 monitor that displays a dark thin vertical line on the right hand side of the screen. The line seems to appear on initial boot up, but disappears after approx 5 minutes. Is this indicative of a hardware problem with the monitor, or could it be an issue with the driver or video card?

Power the monitor off. Disconnect all of the monitor cables from the computer. Power the monitor on. If the line appears, some monitor component could be failing.

Hi , did you get this resolved ?. I have the same issue , started 2months out of warrenty ( 3yrs )

Mine was under warranty therefor I was able to replace.
