Dell 24" Monitor - screen "peeling"

I just noticed today that in the top left hand corner it looks like the picture is "peeling" backwards like a dog-ear on a piece of paper.  There is nothing physical wrong with the unit externally as far as I can tell, and it has never experience any kind of drop, hit, etc... I tried changing resolutions and the problem persists on all resolutions.

Has anyone heard of this issue?

Are there any fixes available?

The unit is beyond warranty, and I have the technical knowledge to reassemble or replace internal parts of necessary, just need to know what I would need in order to repair this if possible.

Thanks in advance for any help available!

That looks like the plastic molding, not the panel itself, correct?
