Dell Monitor Warranty End Date

Hello,

I work for a company that orders Dell products in bulk (hundreds). I was asked to find out the warranty end dates for all monitors. I have no way of doing this presently, as the monitors do not have service tags, only serial numbers.

How should I go about figuring out the warranty end dates for all these monitors?

Thank you!

There is no easy way to do this. Every monitor has a 20 digit serial number and at least a 3 year warranty.

Example = CZ0-F525M-73608-021-341L
The 021 is the date code.
0 = 2010
2 = February
1 = 1st

So the three year warranty ended on February 1, 2013.

You will have to record them all and figure out the date.

Not without additional fees which would be shown on the actual invoice for each monitor.

Thank you for your quick response! That helps me out tremendously.

So all monitors have at least a 3 year warranty--are there any monitors that have a longer warranty (without having paid any additional fees)? I hope that makes sense.

One more question: What happens with serial numbers that have numbers in the part that indicates the release date? For example, a lot of the serial numbers I found for our company monitors go something like: CN-0P7D0G-74261-3BI-0MFL
