Dell P1110 Wavy @ 60hz, shaky above
Well I have tried just about everything to fix this. I just got the monitor the other day, plugged it in at work, everything was awesome. Brought it home and at 60 hz, the whole screen is kinda wavy, above that it shakes. My old monitor did this to so I don't think it is directly related to the Dell.
The first thing I did is look at what was around the monitor, tried the monitor in all rooms of my apartment. Same thing everywhere!
The next thing I thought was power, so I got a power filter/voltage regulator. Nope still does the same thing. I borrowed a UPS from work and ran it just off the battery, same thing. I have tried almost everything. Even without the computer plugged in and not in the same room (just looking at no signal message) you can still see the shakiness. Not to mention I shut off all the circuit breakers but the one the computer was on and tried more then one!
Any ideas on how to find the source of interference (power pole or the like?), it is really annoying on a monitor this big!
Thanks,
Lee

Thank you for using the DellTalk Forum.
Make sure no speakers are next to the monitor. Flourescent lighting will also cause the screen to shake, or appear to shake.

But what if your computer and monitor don't support 100hz? I have a Dell 8100 GeForce3 64mb card and P1110. I'm having the same problem, but my refresh rate only can be set to 60, 70, 72, 75 and 85. Only 60 stops the shaking. Should I be able to go to 100hz?
PS: The setup was working fine for years. The other day after I pressed the reset button, everything got messed up.
