Dell SP2208WFP or 2407WFP-HC

I purchased a Dell SP2208WFP a month back. Currently I am running my third replacement which still has a thin white line at the bottom of the screen, plus bottom half of the screen way brighter than top as even compared to my original LCD. Now here in India Dell is offering me a brand new 2407WFP-HC ultrasharp 24" monitor as replacement. So please advice whether I demand the same SP2208WWFP another model as replacement or Accept the 2407WFP-HC.

I also asked them about the new 2408WFP, but they refuse to give that saying that its not listed under our system. I dont know what that means.

Comparing the specs, the 2407WFP has a larger, full HD resolution. The SP2208WFP has 1680x1050 on a 22" screen -> large pixel pitch. The 2407 has a wide gamut S-PVA panel, the SP2208 has a TN. The 2407 has greater stand adjustment and more inputs.

All monitors seem to have some issues or limitations - search the forum for any issues with this monitor.
