U2713H, cycling through colors
Hi,
This is out of warranty by six years. When I connect to a Sony Vaio it works, with HDMI to HDMI, but when I connect to another laptop with the same cable it cycles thru RGB colors. Have tried to enter service menu as outlined here in some threads, with pressing button 2 and 4 and powering on, but that does not work. Unplugging and holding power down too does not seem to work. I think it is not recognizing a higher resolution signal? Could that be it? Even the OSD menus is locked and am unable to unlock by holding down either menu or exit for 15 seconds.

Strange. I connected it with the same cable to an 8 year old Vaio and it shows the display fine. How come it shows from one source but when I connect to 3 other sources, it just cycles thru RGB colors? All the other sources work fine with another Dell monitor that I have, so it's not a cable or source issue.
