Dell Ultrasharp UP2716D screen "flicks" (?)
Hi,
I bought a Dell UP2716D 2 weeks ago and Im loving it. But I have noticed that sometimes the screen flicks. I have a PC with a Sapphire Radeon 5870 Vapor X GPU and I connected the card from the mini-display port of the display to the Display Port of my graphics card (with the cable that came with my UP2716D).
Any of you experiencing the same problem. It just hops one time every (say) 10 minutes.. or longer..
For just a millisecond..

It doesn't appear that our Forum users have experienced this issue.
* Reset the UP2716D to Factory Defaults in the OSD (On Screen Display)
* Test every video out port on the Sapphire Radeon 5870 to the UP2716D
* If possible, test the UP2716D on a different computer to see if the issue follows the monitor

I tried to test my UP2716D to another computer with a Radeon 6450 graphics card via HDMI but my display couldnt make it to 2560x1440. all I have is 2048x1080 (??) I cannot check if it flicks on the native resolution. My HDMI cable is HDMI 1.4 so is Radeon 6450 (I think). The gpu also has the latest drivers installed.

The video card dictates the resolution sent, not the monitor. Sounds like the maximum HDMI out on that card 2048x1080.
