E228WFP horizontal line
hello everyone, My friend gave me this great E228WFP monitor.But it has this inch wide horizontal line in it.

As you can see, line is bit transparent. I am pretty sure its technical issue, i still can dark line even after i turn it off.
My question is how can i fix it? what i need to buy and where can i buy parts?

I was hoping to get replacement parts for like ~100$. So i need to find "replacement screen"?

That looks like pressure damage or screen-burn and I doubt you will ever recover the screen. And a replacement screen would make it a costly repair unless you can get one from a used/faulty monitor.

I reckon you'd be very lucky to even find a screen let alone at that price. Best bet would be a used monitor with a fault other than the screen and use that as a donor.
