No matter on which computer I connect Dell JNQXGI FLAT MONITOR - goes BLACK, 1 Y. old.; Vista, Let me work for few min. and goes BLACK
How to fix it??? or is it DEAD? If that's the case, I am not purchasing another Dell.

What specific monitor model is it? I do not recognize JNQXGI. What ports have you tested on the monitor? Does the monitor pass the Self Test?
STFC (Self Test Feature Check)
* Turn the monitor off
* Disconnect all monitor cords from the PC video card and the monitor USB cable from the PC
* Turn the monitor on
* The floating red/green/blue/white dialog box should appear on screen against a black background and stays on
* If the box and colors appear normal then your issue is with the video card driver or the video card itself

When it goes black, take a flashlight and shine it on the screen at an angle. Can you still "see" anything on the monitor? It may be a backlight issue, like what I'm experiencing with an E228WFP (and still can't get any warranty help for). In these cases, you should still be able to see what should be on the screen if you put a light on it from outside, after the screen goes "black."
In that case, if your monitor is still under warranty, start the process of a warranty swap.

We are aware of the black out issue on the E228WFP. The service stock was fixed, get it replaced if still under warranty
* Power off the monitor
* Disconnect the power cord from the monitor
* Disconnect all monitor cords from the PC (USB, DVI, VGA, DisplayPort, HDMI, etc.)
* While disconnected, press and hold the monitor power button down for 3 seconds
* Reconnect the VGA cord from the monitor to the PC video card
* Reconnect the power cord to the monitor
* Power on the monitor if it does not power on by itself
* Power on the PC
* Press the Input Source Select button and choose VGA
