Sounds like your screen resolution on your display has been changed.  To find out and change, click:

Start>control  panel>display>settings (tab at top).

On your settings screen, you should have a slider bar that you can raise or lower your screen resolution.  The higher your resolution, the smaller your screen display will be, as well as your desktop icons, etc. will be smaller.

Not knowing what size your monitor is, and what display settings you were running at prior to your problem, it is hard to tell you what you should set your resolution at.  If you do not know what the optimal settings are, or what you previously had them set at, post back with your monitor size and type of monitor (CRT or LCD).  Also, what operating system you are using.  You might want to start with 800X600 resolution (really big) if you are unsure what to set at, and move upward from there until you have it set to the size that you like it.

Hope this helps.
