Need Driver

I recently bought a second hand Dell monitor D1728D L-S to use in a computer maintenance course. The problem I,m having is finding a driver for it. Can someone please give me some ideas as to where the best place to find it might be as I cant seem to find it on Dells website

I can't seem to find one, either - even in the older 'legacy' collections for an O/S like Win98. There's only a couple of forum posts that mention that monitor, both are looking for drivers and both were advised to just use the default "plug and play" ones for it. Can you give that a shot, if you haven't already?

I've seen on some forums where people are using a driver for the VS17X which is already in Win XP.

But you need to register on the site to download drivers and I don't know if the driver is contained in the "dellmon.exe" file. The first option is probably your best bet.

However, it doesn't seem to have an entry for the D1728. As noted, try Steve's first option.
