P2217H, goes black and comes back when other power switches in the house are toggled

Dear Experts,

I have a Dell P2217H monitor which is absolutely serves its purposes However, I see a problem with it now! When I am using it, if someone goes around the house and presses any power switches (plugs), the P2217H goes black and comes back within the next couple of seconds! Any idea how I can prevent it? I am thinking of buying a UPS to connect my P2217H to in case if connecting the P2217H directly to power socket is an issue!
