P2414H monitor compatible with HP Elitebook 2560p + Windows 10?

Dear All, I'd really appreciate help with a couple of v v basic questions! Having heard good things about the Dell P2414H monitor, I'd seriously like to buy it -- but can it definitely be operated via my backup laptop, an HP Elitebook 2560p? And is it ok that this laptop has Windows 10?

If your answer to my two questions is Yes, then my final query is: if I also want to use a separate ergonomic keyboard, am I right in assuming the keyboard connects into the laptop (not into the monitor)?

Thanks very much!

You will need to check with the HP Forum to find out what video out ports the HP Elitebook 2560p has and which ones can support 1920x1080. The P2414H has the following video in ports =
DP, DVI-D HDCP, VGA

Read through the User's Guide. The Windows 7/8/8.1/10 driver is here.
