P2418HT, support 1080i with no overscan?

Jump to solution

I'm inquiring to see if an P2418HT will support 1080i 59.94Hz with no overscan (outside edges of video get cut off) as previously experienced and found in the U2413 and supporting articleI tested an P2416D and have experienced the same result.

Thank you!

Found my own answer on other forums.

I need a dell monitor with an H code in it. (16:9) - so the P2418HT will work.

Monitors i had tested (U2413, P2416D, UP3017) but failed the test were 16:10 which explained why it always tried to zoom.

As other colleagues tested for me other year monitors with H in them and 1080i 59.94hz shows up proper.
