P2419H, no power, will not turn on

Hi guys,

This one stinks. Just bought this P2419H last February 19 this year, and now suddenly the P2419H won't turn on? No power at all. It was connected to an AVR since day 1, and barely used it. I could say average hour usage would be around 4 hours per day and mainly for movies. Barely used it since its my second monitor. Was using it the night before, turned off pc. By the morning, after turning on the pc, it was just blank. Checked everything, remove connection from pc, tried another power source, nothing. I was thinking of returning to the shop, but I don't know what to expect. Any help would be great.

* From whom did you purchase this P2419H?


Test this =
* Disconnect every cable from the P2419H (including the power cable)
* Disconnect the power cable from the AVR
* Press and hold the P2419H power button for 8 seconds
* Connect the P2419H power cable directly to the wall power outlet, not the AVR
* Connect the other end into the P2419H
* Turn the P2419H on. What happens? Does the power button light up? Does anything appear onscreen?

Hi Chris, Nothing happened on the test suggested, same thing no light, no power. Will message you the info. I bought the monitor at Dell Store in SM Cebu here in the Philippines. Thanks
