P2715Q + U2311H w/ DP over Macbook Pro 15" 2017 TB
Hi
I am trying use my P2715Q as primary monitor and U2311H as secondary monitor, they are connected via DP as a Daisy Chain topology, over my Macbook Pro 15" 2017 TB, however U2311H doesn't show the screen.
1. When I only connect P2715Q to work at 4k@60Hz with my Macbook Pro 2017 TB, it works fine.
2. Then I connect P2715Q (DP out) <----DP cable--->U2311H (DP in), then enable MST, U2311H shows nothing, but a message (something about 1920x1080@60Hz).
Does my connection topology correct?

Thanks for your feedback, even it's still not working for me.
Mac OS X has it's own video resolution setting, so I can't adjust my resolution as your suggestion.
And maybe U2311h doesn't support MST link, I don't know.
In the end, I bought a USB 3.0 DisplayLink adaptor to connect to U2311h via DVI, so I can use 2 external DELL monitors with my Macbook Pro now. :)

The Apple proprietary hardware, operating system (including Windows Bootcamp), and drivers were never tested/validated by Dell with these monitor models. All we can provide is "best guess" support. You should also ask the Apple users on the Apple Forum for troubleshooting help.

Thanks for your support, I think maybe Macbook doesn't detect U2311H in MST and not output correct resolution for U2311H.
My connection topology are as following:
Current connection and work: MacBook Pro 2017 TB out port --> P2715Q mDP to DP cable --> P2715Q DP in port (MST = Disable, 4k2k 3840x2160 60Hz, it )
What I am trying but not work: MacBook Pro 2017 TB out port --> P2715Q mDP to DP cable --> P2715Q DP in port (MST = Primary = DP 1.2 out Enabled, 4k2k 3840x2160 30Hz)
P2715Q DP out port --> Some other DP 1.2 cable --> U2311H DP in port

The fault could be either =
* The fact that the U2311H was never tesed/validated as the second in a MST/DP daisy chain
* The Apple
* Or the Apple and the 4k2k 3840x2160 resolution chosen in the P2715Q. Back the P2715Q resolution down to 1920x1200 60Hz as shown on page 24. The try the daisy chain =
