P3418HW, PWM (pulse width modulation) ?
Does the P3418HW use PWM at any brightness level? I have been using this monitor for a few weeks and am starting to have some eye issues.

Does the P3418HW use PWM at any brightness level? I have been using this monitor for a few weeks and am starting to have some eye issues.

Page 7 of the P3418HW User's Guide states;
"The Dell P3418HW flat-panel display has an active matrix, Thin-Film Transistor,
Liquid Crystal Display and LED backlight." LED backlight uses PWM.
"The possible long-term effects of blue light emission from the monitor may cause damage to the eyes, including eye fatigue or digital eye strain. ComfortView feature is designed to reduce the amount of blue light emitted from the monitor to optimize eye comfort."
Page 37 shows how to choose ComfortView.
