P4317Q, how to use analog Audio Line In port?
I connected the Audio Line Out of my computer to the Audio Line In port (1/8 jack) of the P4317Q. But, there is no way to select it in the Audio menu of the OSD? There is no sound coming from the P4317Q? How can I use this Audio Line In port to be played on the P4317Q speakers?

* Open the online P4317Q User's Guide
* Page 34 = If using multiple PC's connected to the P4317Q, you have to select the PC using its Audio Line Out in the Input Source selection
* Page 39 = shows us that Speaker must be set to Enable

So if I understand correctly: I absolutely have to enable the PIP/PBP mode in order to make the OSD offer me a choice of audio input (else it is grayed-out) and then, be able to select the analog audio line in (Window 2) - that's too bad.
My use case was: get the full monitor space as one screen in DP (no PIP/PBP) and use the analog audio line for the speaker. Looks like it is not possible. DELL should add this functionality in the next firmware - if it's possible.

Test this...
Single PC to single P4317Q
PC DP out port --> P4317Q DP to DP cable --> P4317Q DP in port
* Open the Menu
* Go to Input Source
* Choose DP
* Change Auto Select to Off
* Go to PIP/PBP
* Change to Off
* Go to Audio
* Change Speaker to Enable
* Exit the Menu
* Connect the cable to the PC Audio Line Out and to the P4317Q Audio Line In port
* Open the taskbar Speaker icon
* Look for Playback devices
* Choose P4317Q DP as the default Playback device
