Power Cable for U2713HM (UK / 3 Pin Only)

Hello all. Can someone who owns a UK friendly (i.e. runs on 240volts) U2713HM Dell Monitor tell me which brand of power cable was supplied with the monitor and the amp on the plug fuse? I accidentally mixed up the monitor power cable with my printer (they are if the same style) and I cant tell which one is which. Dell customer services dont seem to know the answer which I do find bizarre and there is no mention in any of the documentation (that I can find) even though Dell specify to only use the cable they supply. Appreciate any help given!

Hello Chris

It doesn't match. Let me tell you what I have to choose from:

1) 'Honglin' branded cable with 5 amp fuse and the following text 'VDE TüV Rheinland do Brasil OCP 0004 KC SU01054-7002 60227 IEC 53 H05VV-F 4V-75 3G 0.75mm2 300/500V HONGLIN Q080267 LM LF' the cable itself and a number on the plug itself of '021247-00 (for mains plug)'.

2) 'Volex' branded cable with 10 amp fuse and the following text 'N.M. H05VV-F 3G0.75mm2 Vde KEMA-KEUR +S+S+S öVE CEBEC IEMMEQU SABS 1574 BAOHING GTSA-3 N14586 LF' on the cable itself and a number of the plug itself of '082551-11 (for mains plug)'.

Hope this helps you to help me.

I've just tried the first cable and it powers up ok. Is it better to use the 5amp fuse or 10amp fuse?  Worst case scenario maybe best to use the 5amp fuse so at least it will blow on a on a smaller current. What do you think?

Is there any way to check other monitors to see what they are boxed up with? I've only had the monitor about a month and it was manufactured Feb 2013 (purchased from Amazon's UK site).

None of those numbers appear in the parts page. Do they both connect and power on the monitor?
