S2240L, gradient banding or color banding

hi,

i have dell monitor model S2240L. From 1 month am facing with gradient banding or color banding. I have checked with other cables & also tried by connecting to other PC there also same issue. I have buyed 1 year back exactly. I have searched online but haven't got any solution.

You need to post pictures of the monitor while running the monitor Self-Test and BID (Built-in Diagnostic), page 38-39. Based on those pictures, I will tell you if the monitor meets our manufacturer specifications for gradient and color banding.

That does not appear to be the Built-in Diagnostic? It should just be full colored screens?

Per the warranty, you may initiate a monitor exchange.

i have talked to customer care he was saying me there is no problem with my monitor

if u send me technician they will know clearly what was the issue

and there are no service centers too here

for whom i should give my details for exchange

my monitor manufactured date is MAY 2014

The instructions are in my link. But I cannot know how Dell India is going to handle this.
