S2340M, No service tag, Dell refuses to replace it

Dell refusing to honor warranty because I don't have a service tag number on my monitor when all monitors purchased from amazon do not get a service tag number. What do I do to replace my broken monitor still in its warranty phase please help! I purchased a S2340M monitor from Amazon.com thinking that I could enter the service tag and add them to my Dell Account to activate warranty, Now My monitor is not working properly whatsoever and it has a terrible pink hue to it as well as vertical blinking lines running through making it hard to  view, I just bought this a little over a year ago and now I can't get help from anyone to get it replaced or fixed with whatever issue it is having! What can I do to get Dell to honor the warranty without the service tag because when you purchase a monitor from amazon they don't come with that. Please help me figure out how I can get this fixed or replaced by Dell!

* Open "FAQ Monitor"
* Open "Monitor warranties and replacement instructions"
* Read the paragraph:
24" and smaller Dell monitors purchased from resellers (CostCo, Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, Buy.com, online store, etc.)

I read the article thanks for that Chris, I have another problem now though everytime I call customer service they have no idea what I am talking about because they only seem to think every dell product comes with a service tag number and multiple associates of yours I have called all week have no idea what I am talking about when I purchased a monitor from amazon without a service number,  I don't know what to do at this point I need to get this product replaced or something its not working its pretty bad and I need it for work, please advise me on what I can do next???

Contact Dell Customer Service. Tell them to refer to "Dell Monitor Replacement Policy and Procedure - Dell Global Policy" Article ID: PNP13081 for guidelines on replacement when the customer is unable to provide a Service Tag or order number. This is the internal link they will need.
