S2718D, MacBook 12", Image is centered, but has black bars

Macbook: https://support.apple.com/kb/SP741?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

Connected via enclosed usb-c cable. Also tested via original Apple HDMI adapter and enclosed HDMI cable.

More than 1cm thick border all around. My Image is in centre and is blurry because there resolution 2560 x 1440 is shrink with added borders.

Monitor has DisplayPort 1.2 same as MacBook 12".

Any suggestions? Monitor works fine on PC also with Macbook Pro 13" via HDMI. Tested

Dell never tested/validated the S2718D on any Apple proprietary hardware, operating system (including Windows Bootcamp), and drivers.

The fact that the S2718D works on two other systems, points to something in the MacBook 12. 2560x1440 60Hz is the maximum the S2718D can do. Press the S2718D Menu button. It should show "Resolution: 2560x1440 60Hz. Go to Display. The Aspect Ratio should be set to Wide 16:9. If both were correct, no idea why the MacBook 12 has added borders. You should ask the Apple users on the Apple Forum for troubleshooting opinions.

Let me notate something. The presented Apple MacBook "Core M3 1.1 12" (Early 2016) is capable to view 4K on external display. Here are the specifications. I also issues with attaching other the S2719DM to the MacBook Air. I had to recompile some libraries, please take a look here, "mac-pixel-clock-patch-V2".
Good luck!
