S2719DGF, standby LED design
It's very nice of Dell to give the user the option to disable the Power-LED during use of the monitor.
What's not so nice is that no matter how you prefer your LED while the monitor is active, when the monitor is in standby the LED flashes continuously. Small oversight but an annoyance nonetheless forcing me to manually turn off the monitor when I go to sleep.
Please address this in a firmware update, giving the user the possiblity of disabling the LED completely in standby. Thanks!

I can certainly take your suggestion to the Displays team for perhaps future models. But no, the monetary cost to Dell to create a firmware update to address what we consider "working as designed" is not acceptable.

I never doubted that it is "working as designed" my point is it's designed poorly and to be amended. In that case the monetary cost to myself to purchase Dell equipment has just reached "not acceptable" status too.
