S2817Q, Dual, flicker when clicking between each other

I just purchased two S2817Q monitors to go with my new Dell XPS. I hooked up one through DP (display port) to graphics card and one through DP to motherboard. The picture is great, but when I click from one monitor to the other, one monitor goes black for a split second then comes back. I also notice the format of the monitor changes back and forth between Standard and Multimedia mode which must be the flicker. When I hook both monitors up by HDMI (one to graphics card, one to motherboard) both work fine but the picture quality is just a bit less.

* What specific Dell XPS model?
* What operating system?
* What specific GPU/video card?
* Did you install the DDM (Dell Displays Manager) software? If yes, uninstall it, reboot the computer and retest
* On each S2817Q, press the Menu button. What is the left Resolution and right Maximum?

You should be connecting both S2817Q to the added Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 video card. One using Nvidia GPU while the other using the onboard Intel GPU might be your issue.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 DP out port --> S2817Q DP to mDP cable --> #1 S2817Q mDP in port

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 DP out port --> S2817Q DP to mDP cable --> #2 S2817Q mDP in port
