Speaker hook up
A couple years ago I bought the Dell speaker that mounts horizontally on your monitor to the bottom but I can't connect the power jack to the new Dell monitor I have does not have the correct connection for what I think is a 3.5 female. It has USB and other connections types. Can anyone help on this. Thanks!

What specific Dell monitor? Some of the monitors do not have the power jack for the soundbar which means you have to get a AC adapter powered soundbar.

First Happy New Year!
The monitor says DEll AS501 on the back. It is a wide screen 21" with 2 usb ports on the left (if it is set long side horizontal) It does not have a power jack and I was wondering if I can find an adaptor without buying a new sound bar.

Actually the monitor is an SP2309 Wc and the speaker bar is the Dell AS501. I can just get a new speaker bar I guess.
