Since the owners of this monitor are well aware of this problem that occurs once in a while, I would like an official explanation from Dell about this issue and a permanent fix. The response given here is simply a temporary solution and is not related to any software installed on the machine. I too thought it was going to fix the problem but it happen again and I'm not too happy about this.
I have escalated your demand to engineering. They will attempt to replicate the issue in the lab. I will not hear anything for at least a week.
Wow! It's been one month with no answer. I'm impressed. So that's what customers should expect from Dell. Good to know.
