The Dell soundbar is supposed to get power to it using the DC power jack on the bottom of the U2410? Unless you purchased a soundbar that has its own external AC power adapter.

No. We simply replace them if they fail the monitor self-test. We do not do the F/A (failure analysis). The manufacturer does F/A.
