U2414H Dual with Single Display Port
I have two U2414H. They have a display port "out" along with display port in and hdmi. I am looking to buy an optiplex but the ones I want only have a single display port. Can I drive both monitors in extended mode in Windows 8 using a single display port? If I can, do I just run a cable between the two monitors and if so what would I use.

The computer video card and driver must support DP (DisplayPort) 1.2.
In a two monitor DP MST setup, only the first monitor in the chain should have DP 1.2 Enabled in the monitor OSD (on screen display).
Computer to Monitor 1
computer video card DP or mDP out --> monitor 1 DP or mDP in via the Dell mDP to DP cable
Monitor 1 to Monitor 2
Monitor 1 DP 1.2 MST out --> Dell DP to mDP cable --> Monitor 2 mDP in

Will a display port on any current optiplex support the dual monitor configuration.

I have configured as described above. While the second monitor works mirroring the first it is not detected in Windows 8 and I can not extend the desktop. The card is a Radon AMD an according to Dell rep was display port enabled.
Any suggestions?
