U2414H, Powersave Mode, no DisplayPort cable?

Yesterday, when loading system, the monitor just suddenly entered powersave mode and couldn't detect dp cable anymore. changing to minidp or using another dp cable was no use. tried to disable dp 1.2, no use as well. what's the problem? My video card is MSI GTX770, bought in august.

Hard Reset the U2414H
* Turn the monitor off
* Disconnect every cable from the monitor (including the power cord)
* Press and hold in the monitor power button for 15 seconds
* Reconnect all cabling to the monitor and the computer
* Turn the monitor on, then the computer

Turns out that on Balanced power, Windows may be turning off DP (DisplayPort) functionality. Changing the Power Plan to High Performance and disconnecting/reconnecting DP fixes the problem.
* Click Start
* Enter power in the search bar
* Click Choose a power plan
* Click Show additional plans
* Click High Performance
* Close the window
