U2414H, XPS 8700, connection issues
Hello, I bought a Dell XPS 8700 (order ) and a monitor U2414H. I have read the blogs and tried several different connections and still get the error no displayport connected. I have used the hemisphere cable plugged from the hdmi port 1 from the screen to the slot between the two pin connectors on the computer as mentioned in an earlier post. I have tried the mini DP port to the display port with the cable provided. Nothing seems to work. Please help with simple directions on which ports and cable to use from the monitor to the computer. Thanks

The number you provided is not showing in my tools. What is the service tag number on the XPS 8700?
