U2415, add the 16:9 aspect ratio
I found this discussion because I was searching how to set 16/9 in some circumstances. Please DELL, add 16/9 firmware upgrade letterbox. It's so stupid to have 5/4 and no the common 16/9. Everyone expect to find 16/9 settings in a particular 16/10 display. The 16/10 form factor is a good thing, but without excluding the possibility to use 16/9 for other devices. Many inputs are not useful if I can't set the display to 16/9. It's a good display for the price, but add the opportunity to upgrade by firmware the display setting. No aspect ratio by design isn't a good answer, so the design is very wrong. Please DELL, listen to your customer. Add the 16/9 settings.

As I stated in the 2014 thread, the U2415 was never designed to do 16:9. This was a design choice made by the manufacturer. We showed this in both the User's Guide and the sales site. There are no plans to add 16:9 to this monitor.
