U2417H delivered with broken seal, whats the deal?
Just received my U2417H.
To my surprise the original DELL seal was cut and another seal was placed over it.
My question is, is this a common issue?
How do i know if my monitor is a refurbished one? I'm outside USA and here there's no policy that forces manufactures to warn consumers about refurbished itens and Dell is know for selling refurbished monitors as brand new here.
Is there a way to know if a given monitor is refurbished?

From what Dell country website did you purchase this U2417H? Link to it. What is the 20 digit serial number and A0x revision?

For my notes, please show the online proof of this.

Hi,
I bought from a local brazilian e-comerce store (Casasbahia.com.br) "sold and delivered by Dell" (similar to Amazon.com marketplaces). So it was sold by Dell Brazil.
S/N - CN-0XVNNT-WS200-77B-B4FS

Unfortunately, there is no way for Dell to know what happened to the monitor after it shipped from the manufacturer. It could have been unsealed during delivery or by the reseller. All we can know is that it is 2 months old.
