U2518D, DDM error, doesn't recognize monitor

since the first installation of the monitor, driver, update firmware,

the dell display manager cannot recognize the u2518d, it always show "This program requires a supported Dell monitor and connection, and compatible display driver"

in device manager, it's shown u2518d,

DDC/CI is enable

i'm in windows 10 latest build, connect via hdmi from on board port (intel HD 630)

Please help.

updating the vga driver did not solve the issue, but i update the motherboard bios to the latest firmware, and it works (gigabyte h270 gaming 3), anyhow, thanks a bunch for respond, my problem is solved.

* This is how you should have the U2518D connected to the computer =
Computer HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> U2518D HDMI in port
U2518D USB upstream out port --> USB 3.0 upstream cable --> Computer USB in port
* Use the free Intel DSA (Driver Support Assistant) utility to check and if needed install the latest Intel chipset and video GPU drivers
* Reboot when done
* Uninstall DDM (Dell Display Manager)
* Reboot the computer
* Install DDM from here
* Reboot when done and retest DDM
