U2518D, MacBook Pro Retina, blurry text

Recently bought. Dell U2518D monitor to use with my late 2016 MacBook Pro Retina. All cables, including the ones that came with the monitor works. However, the text on the monitor is jaggy and blurred. Even the refresh rate is locked at 59.88Hz (NTSC). Someone help! Are there any other Dell monitors, QHD, UHD or otherwise, that will work with a 2016 MacBook Pro Retina? I’m getting fed up with this monitor and planning on returning it soon.

I cannot speak to the untested Apple, but 59Hz is commonly seen in Windows 10 and considered normal. The Apple proprietary hardware, operating system (including Windows Bootcamp), and drivers were never tested/validated by Dell with this monitor model. Go here to the driver page and click the "Operating system" drop down to see the supported operating systems. You should ask the Apple users on the Apple Forum for troubleshooting help. Ask them if there is a Apple branded cable that you should be using.
