U2715H, replacement with what looks like cross-hatching

I just got my replacement U2715H which has the same issue as the first one. The reseller is saying that its a computer issue even though when I tried the second monitor, I just connected its power and ran a self-test (button 1 + button 4). This time they were fainter, and again after about 15 minutes of use they disappear, only to re-appear after a few hours of use! Is this a known issue? Both monitors have been manufactured September 2014.

Assuming you have Factory Reset the U2715H?
* Press the Menu button to open the OSD (On Screen Display)
* Go to Others- Factory Reset

What are the 20 digit serial numbers?

RE: U2715H, replacement with what looks like cross-hatching

hi chris,

I sent the service numbers as a private message

The issue is intermittent as was with the old monitor - now after a couple of hours of use the vertical bars have completely disappeared.

the old monitor used to behave this way everyday:

  1. vertical lines Appear at first when the monitor is switched on

  2. lines disappear after 15-30 minutes of use

  3. lines re-appear after 3-4 hours of use until it is switched off

I've had the new one for 4 hours so I haven't really tested in depth. issues appear with inputs disconnected and screen in self-test mode. re-seller already offered credit for the monitor so I might go for something else. I was just wandering weather this is a known issue or not
