U2717D, not working with DP extender?
I have two U2717D for display GUI from SuperMicro Workstation. The Gefen EXT-DP-CP-2FO (DisplayPort Extender over two LC Fiber-Optic Cables) is not working. But computer detected the monitor but on U2717D it just black screen
- CentOS 6.8; Windows 10 Pro 64bit
- Nvidia Quadro P4000 (connect with DP port)

Dell never tested DP extenders. You will need to contact Gefen for further support. The monitor manufacturer and Dell only support the usage of the provided 6' DP to mDP cable or 6' retail DP to DP cable connected directly to the monitor and the video card.
