U2722D, MacBook Pro M1, DDM not working
I was able to connect the U2722D to a 2021 MacBook pro M1 using a USB Type-C to DP cable and also using an older HDMI to HDMI cable.
The display looks great (with both cables) but I cannot get DDM for Mac to see the monitor with either cable? I've ensured that DDC/CI is on and I've given DDM permission under Security & Privacy, Screen Recording as well as Accessibility.
I also updated the firmware on the monitor to M3T102. Let me know if this should be in a separate thread.
Thanks!

Yes thank you! That combination worked for me. Both cables together. DDM is fully functional.
PC USB Type-C port --> Cable Matters USB Type-C to DP cable --> U2722D #4 DP in port
PC USB Type-C port --> USB Type-C to C cable --> U2722D #6 USB Type-C upstream port

DDM is Dell Display Manager (for Mac OS) in my case if anyone is doing a search.

In both cases of #3 HDMI in port and #4 DP in port, the U2722D #6 USB Type-C upstream port has to also be connected to the PC for DDM to function and to give access to the #7/#9/#10/#11 downstream ports.
Which is why the manufacturer provided the USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable.
But the MacBook Pro 2021 does not have USB Type-A ports. So you will need to purchase a USB Type-C to C cable.
PC HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> U2722D #3 HDMI in port
PC USB Type-A port --> U2722D USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable --> U2722D #6 USB Type-C upstream port
-or-
PC USB Type-C port --> USB Type-C to C cable --> U2722D #6 USB Type-C upstream port
PC USB Type-C port --> Cable Matters USB Type-C to DP cable --> U2722D #4 DP in port
PC USB Type-C port --> USB Type-C to C cable --> U2722D #6 USB Type-C upstream port
