U3014 RTC overshoot "scroll problem"

I think I might be able to shed some light on the RTC overshoot problem that many users are reporting, mostly when scrolling web pages.  Here, for example: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3529/t/19494628.aspx

I just purchased three of these monitors and am seeing this problem on all three, so I suspect it is present with all U3014s.  However, specific conditions are needed to see it, and scrolling these forum pages under normal conditions won't do it.

The issue for me is that I'm using F.lux to change the color temperature of my screen in the evening.  (www.justgetflux.com).  Therefore instead of scrolling black text on a white background, I'm scrolling black text on a very light reddish background, which results in frankly terrible glowing after-images, which appear green since my eyes are adjusted to the warmer tone.  More detailed description here: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?p=1040230442&posted=1#post1040230442.

More generally, to test this you'll need to move black on a lightly colored background, not a white background.
