U3014 Rev A03 OUT?

Please can anyone from Dell confirm that the Dell U3014 Rev A03 monitor is out? If so I was told by someone from Dell Kiran K that wait for the Rev A03 monitor as my current one has horizontal lines problems plus one said being dimmer then the other. I was sent out monitors but same problem so held on to my current one till the Rev A03 came out. I did contact Kiran K but no answer been over 3 weeks so that's the reason posting here so if someone from Dell can please help me with this would really appreciate it Thanks.

All I was told was it should be out in September. I have not received an email stating that A03 was out.

I would also like to know if the chat rep is correct that we can now order new A03 monitors. Chris, do you have an update based on what the chat rep indicated?

Sales told me the same thing. But I cannot find any proof of it. All I can do is watch and see what other users are saying about their purchase.

Since it was released in the UK first, will we get the A03 first? It's only fair.

I tried to swap out my A02 for an A03, and they shipped me another (worse) A02. It took a couple of weeks to try and sort that out, and escalating with support. The were even going to attempt to send me another one with no guarantee that it would be a A03 model so I had them cancel the dispatch. So my support ticket is still open and I am waiting. I really don't want to go through all this garbage again of asking specifically for an A03 and then Dell shipping me an A02. In the US as of 9/12/2013 the tech support person I am in contact with says there is no new updates about when the new revision will be out. So I am coming back around to these forums hoping to see some good news.

I got a call today from Dell Support and as of today they still don't have an A03 model to send me. If that changes in the future I'll post here. Hopefully someone at Dell here on the forums can find out what's going on with the A03 revision. When I started my support ticket I thought the A03 revision was already done in engineering and in the supply channel.

Erm....for the record and sharing my foreseeing opinion for further ..happening that

beside U3014 rather U3415W coming in 4Q.

So that any ppl who waiting official release message from DELL about A03 for U3014

would need to consider  U3415W either.

Of cuz, it may need to wait another revision as well but seem that worthy. Isn't it?

is there any way you can get a better ETA on A03 shipping? It's frustrating that everyone that gets asked at Dell has a completely different answer  when there is a bunch of people (myself included) waiting to give you our money for a brand new A03 monitor. We realize it is not your fault, just frustrated. Thanks

For NEW stock, end of October. Used/Refurbished exchange stock should be at A03 now.

Chris,

If what you state is true (I imagine you are correct), why is India all over the map on this answer? I phoned again today and they insisted that the revision number shipping is A.05 and that I could trust them. (even from their supervisor) They certainly need training over there, it is horrible tech support/presales. They also keep mentioning that I am wrong and that the U3011 models were A.03 and the newer U3014 models went on to being A.04 and then A.05. 

Anyway, all I am trying to point out is the utter confusion one has when trying to buy one of these monitors... I want to give Dell my money but I do need some of the issues fixed before I make my purchase.

As a suggestion it would be great to see what firmware revisions people are buying right at the time of ordering. This would eliminate so much confusion. Also it would be great to see an updated list with every revision stating what was fixed/upgraded since the last version. -- These 2 things would make it far easier to make a confident purchase.

An update... I emailed tech support earlier today regarding my open ticket and the agent I was dealing with called me back telling me that the A03 model is available for me to exchange to. So they are sending me one. I'll post back when I get it assuming they do send me an actual A03 revision. You never know, but I am just cautiously optimistic. ;)
