U3014 problems
Hello,
Grateful, if anyone advise on:
1. My monitor randomly turns transparently-green (greenish). In various applications. Once a 5-7 days, I'd say. No matter DVI or DP cables used. Recovers to normal state by pressing ALT + TAB a few times or turning off / on the monitor. Did anyone come accross this and is there any solution?
2. A separate problem is that in connection with the above I decided to play with settings of Dell Display Manager software, but when turned it on it prompted for an update (version 1392, if not mistaken). So I updated it, set to Auto and my PC now crashes every time I try to use internet browser (Google Chrome) and the monitor tries to automatically shift its mode to standard or multimedia. Later I changed the version of the software to 1260 but still the problem is there. I had to uninstall it and set a fixed preset. Is there any option for Auto without this software and what's a valid version of this program and does it have any relation to the problem 1 above?
System info:
Windows 8.1pro, 64bit
Gpu: Geforce GTX Titan 2 way SLI (the problem happens with single gpu as well)
Thank you

Personally I would only use the monitor's menu, not the software. Turn smart video enhance off. DDC/Ci disable, and LCD conditioning disable. energy smart off possibly too. Get rid of "ease of use" features that may not matter to you. They have not mattered to me anyway. Good luck.
And check desktop themes and or screen saver settings - possibly connections there too.

Thank you.
Yes, the software looks like not compatible with win 8.1 and hence crash.
Concerning randomly appearing green layer - this is the result of the monitor spontaneously shifting from RGB to YCbCr color. Any solution?

Monitor exchange seems like a choice worthy of considering. I had one that would not display at all when set on sRGB, replaced and next had no problem like that. Good luck.
