U3417W, Latitude 5580, no 3440x1440 resolution
My laptop is a Dell Latitude 5580 with an Intel HD Graphics 530 and i5-6440HQ CPU @ 2.6 Hz.
Whenever I try to put on 3440x1440 resolution when connecting my laptop the screen of the monitor starts to wig out and show the image large and fuzzy as it is moving down the screen. I can currently use 2560x1440 and 2560x1080 resolution settings but they are not as crisp as the 3440x1440 so I would like to use that if possible.

How are you connecting the Latitude 5580 to the U3417W using what cable and ports on both?

HD cable onto a Iyama IPS 34" works great on my self build but alas your graphics drivers not liking the 21:9 you can't run a custom range on it to overcome it. an update would be great, this is going to grow as a problem.
