U4021QW, Latitude 5410, WD19, will not run 3840x2160 60Hz

@jphughan Thanks for your comment. Can you please help to understand if it is possible to run 3 external monitors (1080) from Latitude 5410 and WD19. When trying to do that , I always have 1 monitor off. How can i fix it. Your help is much appreciated. 

@alexthegreat777  There are definitely some potential issues with the setup you're attempting.

First, the Intel GPU in the Latitude 5410 can only run three total displays, including the built-in display if it's active.  So if you want to run three external displays, you have to set the built-in display to disabled before you can light up the third external display.  If that isn't an option for you, then you'd have to run at least one of your displays via "indirect display" technology such as DisplayLink -- not to be confused with DisplayPort.  But I won't delve into that just yet in case you're ok using ONLY the external displays.

The second issue is that the WD19 is a regular USB-C dock, not a Thunderbolt dock, and the Latitude 5410 supports DisplayPort HBR2 over USB-C, not HBR3.  As a result, you don't have enough video bandwidth available to run three 1080p displays.  This page of the WD19 User Guide indicates that with an HBR2 system, the only valid triple display setup would be 1x 1080p and 2x 1280x720.  You can run dual 1080p, but not triple 1080p.

So as long as you're you have at least one option here, possibly two:

1. Connect two displays to the dock and then connect the third display directly to the HDMI output on the system.  That way the third display's bandwidth requirements won't have to be met over the dock connection that doesn't have access to enough bandwidth to run all three.
2. If your Latitude 5410 has Thunderbolt, which was optional on that system rather than standard, then you could get the WD19TB/WD19TBS, which is the Thunderbolt version of the WD19/WD19S.  Thunderbolt with your system would allow access to 4x more video bandwidth, which would be enough for dual 4K 60 Hz or triple 1440p.  Alternatively, you could just get the Thunderbolt module upgrade for your existing WD19.  Here is the link to that module and here are the instructions.
