XPS Laptop, D3100 Dock, Daisychain U2417H to U2410
Hello,
I have an XPS laptop with a GeoForce GTX 1050 card on version 373.06. I am connecting my laptop to a D3100 docking station. From the docking station I've connected via Displayport to a new U2417H. I then daisy chained the U2417 to an older U2410 with displayport. The monitors are working, but appear as 1 in Windows 10 and so they are only behaving as cloned displays. I would like to extend so that I have both monitors for use. I can't figure out what I need to do to enable the extend so that the monitors are recognized separtely.

The D3100 DP (DisplayPort) 1.1 does not support DisplayPort 1.2 Multi-Stream Transport (MST also known as Daisy Chain). You should setup like this =
D3100 DP out port --> U2417H DP to mDP cable --> U2417H mDP in port
D3100 HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> U2410 HDMI in port
