dell 3008wfp USB problem
Whenever I plug the uplink USB cable to the uplink port. The screen goes blank, and the power blue light keep flashing. No response no matter what I press on any button until I remove the usb cable. What's the problem? Anyone have the problem solved or I have to rma it?

So the other end of the monitor USB cable is not connected to anything when this occurs?

Hi Chris,
The other end of course connected to the pc. I tried 3 different pc. As long as I plug it in, the screen blank out.

I think we should replace the monitor USB cable before replacing the monitor. If your in the Americas, I need the following in a private message. Click my username, click Send Message -
Name:
Email Address:
Shipping address:
Phone number:
PC Service Tag number:
Reason/Issue: UF226 USB cable for Monitors with Built in USB Hub
If your not in the Americas, contact Support for your country and have them SHO you the UF226 USB cable.
