Are debug levels additive?

I'm trying to troubleshoot connectivity on a storage node.  I see I the documentation that you can set the debug level on a client, and processes.  Sometimes it says to set it to a number between 1-9 or 1-99.

Are these progressive levels or does anything greater than 0 produce the same output?  If they are progressive, where can I find some guidance on the level to choose?

Re: Are debug levels additive?

There are different debug levels. It depends on where you are applying. For example, running daemons in debug mode, levels are 1-99, for gstd are 1-20, for save and savegrp 1-99. If you use dbgcommand, levels are 0-9.

They are progressive.

You can consult Networker Security Guide for details.
